John Brentnall

John Brentnall is on the panel of official measurers of the Joint Measurement Board.

Currently measurements take’s place at Much Wenlock where there is a concrete pad that has been inspected by Trading Standards Officials.

A horse or pony can be measured at any age. Initially, it will receive an annual height certificate. When it has held one of these for twelve months and is over the age of seven years it can be measured for a full certificate which is lifelong.

It is important to remember that the practice which measures for a full certificate cannot be the same one that provided the previous annual one.
On the day of measurement, the horse or pony must have had its shoes removed and its feet appropriately trimmed
