Puppy Party

What is a PUPPY PARTY?

These are informal get togethers for puppies and their owners.  Puppy Parties are usually held at our Much Wenlock surgery and provide a valuable opportunity for puppies to socialise with other animals and people in a safe environment.

At the Puppy party your puppy will learn how to mix with other dogs, strangers and generally have a fun filled time.

Nurses will also be available to answer any queries you may have and demonstrate how to look after your puppy and what problems to look out for.

What age is best?

We need to wait until at least a week after your puppies first injection, in order to minimise the risk of disease. This can be the first step towards an ongoing socialisation programme. Between the ages of 6 and 14 weeks it is best to expose your puppy to all the ‘normal’ sights and sounds e.g. Other dogs, Household appliances (Vacuum, Washing machine etc), Road noises and people.

If the dog accepts all these things as ‘normal’ at an early age, you will have less trouble in later life.

If you would like to come along and have some fun at a puppy party, call the surgery on 01952 726007 Puppy Party
